PERSONAL SUMMARY:

Lin LI, as a patent attorney and attorney at law, joining Liu, Shen & Associates since 2003, has gained abundant experiences in various patent-related affairs. His current practice includes patent drafting, prosecution, reexamination, invalidation, litigation, patent analysis and client counseling with focuses on telecommunication and computer science, electrical engineering and automatic control, as well as networking & e-commerce.

 

Mr. LI obtained LL.M. from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, U.S.A., with Honors (2016.9-12), master degree of Telematics (Telecommunication & Informatics) from University of Twente in the Netherlands (2001-2003), and bachelor degree of Automation from Beijing University of Technology (1995-2000).

 

Mr. LI also had years of working experience in the field of Intellectual Property with Beijing Longshuang Intellectual Property Retrieval Service Co., LTD. (2000-2001) before he joined the law firm of Liu, Shen & Associates.

 

Mr. LI works in the firm's Electrical and Electronics Department. Mr. LI is a member of the All-China Patent Agents Association. Mr. LI’s working languages are Chinese and English.

Patent Pre-litigation Analysis Projects:

-     Mr. LI has rich practical experience in patent analysis as client counseling and pre-litigation analysis, including dozens of communication standard essential patents (SEP) and commercial patents (Non-SEP), to evaluate validity degree against searched prior art, to analyze relevance degree with respect to potential target products, or relevant communication standards.
