PERSONAL SUMMARY：

Ms. Yu joined the law firm of Liu, Shen & Associate in 2015 and mainly responses for translation, submitting of new applications, as well as communicating with the clients and responding to the Office Action.  These applications comprise foreign applications entering into national phase in China, and Chinese applications entering into other countries. She has also drafted many applications in the field of biology and medicine. Prior to joining Liu Shen, she worked as a patent engineer in Beijing Zhong zi Law Firm for three years, accumulating extensive experience in foreign patent applications.

Ms. Yu got a patent agent qualification certificate in 2015.

Ms. Yu graduated from Lanzhou University in 2005 as a bachelor and obtained her doctor degree in Tsinghua University in 2011.  She has a strong background of biology, especially immunology.  During the study as a PhD student, she majored in molecular immunology and accumulated abundant knowledge and experimental skills of immunology in the molecular immunology laboratory of Tsinghua University.   She focused on the mechanisms of influenza virus and HIV infection, as well as the design of effective inhibitors for both viruses during the study.

Ms. Yu studied in the virus immunology laboratory of New York Blood Center as an exchange student during 2008-2010.  

HIGHLIGHTS：

Representative cases that Ms. Yu has led to include

-     “Composition of detection agents for epithelial tumor cells and preparation method thereof”, which has been granted in many countries such as the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and so on.
