Dr. Yue Li focuses on patent litigation and prosecution. She has solid experience in patent drafting and filing as well as patent invalidation, infringement, and administrative proceedings. She has represented clients handling patent disputes in several important IP forums in China and prosecuting patent applications before CNIPA.
With her technical background in telecommunications, Dr. Li has a strong expertise in prosecution and litigation related to standard-essential patent (SEP). She has represented well-known domestic and foreign communication equipment manufacturers in several SEP infringement cases and rate-setting cases. She has valuable experience in coordinating parallel litigation across jurisdictions and is adept at proposing legal service solutions that serve the clients' overall business interests. In addition, she routinely advises clients in the licensing negotiation of SEP independent from or in parallel to litigation proceedings.
Dr. Yue Li received her PhD in telecommunication engineering from University of Oxford and her bachelor’s degree in communication engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
