Ms. Hu joined Liu, Shen
& Associates in 2003 and now has more than ten years’ experience in the
practice of IP law in China.
Ms. Hu obtained the
qualification
as an attorney at law in
2009
and obtained the qualification as a patent attorney in 2004. Ms. Hu’s
current practice mainly focuses on patent prosecution
and invalidation in the technical fields
of
computer technology, telecommunication & Internet,
electrical & electronics, semiconductor device, and so on. Ms. Hu also does significant work in counseling clients in various matters
relating to intellectual property. Also, Ms.
Hu has
assisted Chinese applicants in
patent
application filing and prosecution with foreign patent offices, such as
USPTO.
Ms.
Hu received her Bachelor of Computer technology and application in 2000 and her
Master of Computer technology in 2003 from Beijing University of Technology inChina.
She received training in US patent prosecution from Scully, Scott, Murphy &
Presser PC, New York, in 2007.

telecommunication company, representing the international telecommunication
company to attend SEP and non-SEP patent infringement group cases. The issues involved
include correspondence of telecommunication standards and SEPs, and FRAND.

2. An international telecommunication company v. a domestic
telecommunication company, representing the international telecommunication
company to attend SEP and non-SEP patent invalidation group cases (2016-2018)
3. An international telecommunication company v. an international manufacturer
of consumer electronics products, representing the international
telecommunication company to attend patent invalidation and patent infringement
group cases. These cases are pending (2018)
4. RIZE Inc. of US v. an individual, representing the individual to invalid
the patent of RIZE Inc. All the targeted claims have been invalidated (2018)
5. Samsung China v. Benxing, representing Samsung China to invalid the
patent of Kedou. The patent has been completely invalidated (2018)
6. Samsung China v. Netac, representing Samsung China to invalid the
patent of Netac. The patent has been completely invalidated (2017)
7. Working for a world top 500 electronic enterprise, to conduct patent
search, patent analysis in image processing field, make patent map, provide patent
warning, and assist the enterprise to carry out patent strategy layout (2015)
8. Working for NTT Docomo, to conduct patent search, patent analysis,
provide multi-aspects analysis report, and assist the enterprise to determine
patent research direction and make patent mining plan (2016)
