履歴:
Ms. Lian joined Liu, Shen & Associates in 2012. She has been
working on patent prosecution, including patent drafting & application,
patent examination, patent reexamination, patent invalidation and litigation,
etc. with a focus on telecommunication, electronics, artificial intelligence
(AI), computer science, Internet & e-commerce, data processing, etc.
Ms. Lian got her qualification as a patent attorney in 2013, qualification
as an attorney at law in 2015, and became a senior patent attorney in 2018. Through
her practice, Ms. Lian has completed relevance analysis of multiple patents with
target products, and stability/validity analysis of multiple patents, entrusted
by clients.
Ms. Lian obtained a master’s degree in Telecommunication and
Information System from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications on
March, 2012, and received the honorary title of “Outstanding Graduate” in
Bejing at the same time.

- Samsung Electronics vs. Huawei, taking part in
multiple invalidation cases of Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and Non-SEPs
(NSEPs), including discussing strategy, drafting request for invalidation and
attending oral proceeding, etc. (2017-2018)
- An invalidation case with respect to a certain
technology company in Shenzhen for Samsung Electronics (2018)
- Entrusted by a world famous search engine company,
performing relevance evaluation of multiple patents with respect to target
products (involving cloud computing, digital home, etc.), and necessity
(relevance) evaluation of multiple patents with respect to 3GPP standards
(2019)
