In May 2020, the Beijing Patent Attorneys Association initiated the selection of Beijing Excellent Patent Agency and Excellent Patent Attorney of 2019-2020 (hereinafter referred to as “Double Excellence Selection”).  After recommendation, preliminary examination, expert review, and board approval, 20 Beijing Excellent Patent Agencies and 49 Beijing Excellent Patent Attorneys were finally selected, with reference to the business conditions, participation in IP-related governmental and association works, participation in social welfare activities, and other indexes.

In this “Double Excellence Selection”, Liu Shen & Associates was awarded as Beijing Leading Patent Agency, and our patent attorney Wang Juan was awarded the title of Beijing Outstanding Attorney.  As the first private patent agency handling foreign-related patent affairs in China, Liu Shen was recognized as professional competence in the field of patent agency by winning this “Leading Agency”.  Appreciating the recognition by the experts, Liu Shen will continue to play the leading role and to provide professional, comprehensive, and excellent IP services for clients at home and abroad. 

Ms. Wang Juan provided many domestic clients with IP-related services including patent drafting, overseas patent application, patent examination, patent invalidation, and patent infringement litigation.  She handled a large number of overseas patent application and examination cases in the electrical field, and is especially familiar with US and European patent application and examination business.
