Ms. Yujie Jin joined Liu, Shen & Associates in 2005 and obtained the
qualification as a patent attorney in 2006. Ms. Jin's practice mainly focuses
on patent prosecution and enforcement, including patent application, patent
invalidation and patent litigation in the technical fields of electronic
engineering, communication technology, computer science, semiconductor
technology, automatic control, image processing, video and audio codec, Artificial Intelligence, Internet and E-commerce,
etc.
Ms. Jin handles a large number of cases related to patent application and
examination as well as patent reexamination every year since 2006, and is
skilled in dealing with difficult and complex problems in patent prosecution.
Ms. Jin also has rich experience in patent relevance and stability evaluation,
has engaged in a large number of commercial patent vs. targeted product
analyses, communication standard essential patent vs. standards analyses, and
stability analyses for both commercial patents and SEPs.
Ms. Jin obtained a master of law degree (LL.M) in IP from the John
Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois, USA in 2012. Before that, Ms. Jin
graduated as a master in Communication and Information System from Tsinghua
University in 2005, and received her bachelor's degree from the same university
in 2002.

series of 3GPP standard essential patents for Samsung; 2016-2017, 2021-2023
- Huawei v. Samsung, representing Samsung in a series
of patent infringement cases and patent invalidation cases; 2016-2019; settled.
- Apple v. Qualcomm, representing Qualcomm in two
patents invalidation cases; 2018-2019; one patent was entirely sustained, and
the other one was partially sustained.
- Benxing v. Samsung, representing Samsung in 4 patent
infringements and patent invalidation cases; 2017; the patents of Benxing were
invalidated entirely.
- Samsung v. Netac, representing Samsung in a patent
invalidation case; 2017; the patent of Netac was invalidated entirely.
