Ms. Zhang started her professional career since joining in Liu, Shen & Associates in 2014. She specializes in full-range litigation and non-litigation matters concerning trademark prosecutions, including trademark oppositions, invalidation actions, non-use cancellations, reviews on rejection, administrative litigations, administrative reconsiderations, comprehensive scheme and strategy consultation for client’s trademark portfolio, and contracts and legal papers drafting. Ms. Zhang also provides consultancy services on trademark infringements, unfair competition, domain name disputes, ICP license and recordal, and copyright registration, etc.

1. For a well-known Britain electric appliances company, Ms. Zhang assists the client in trademark prosecutions, trademark strategies and defensive scheming for years, and successfully makes CNIPA to recognize the prior reputation and correspondence relationship of its house marks through serial opposition and invalidation cases and wins dozens of cases in which its house marks are accepted as “well-known trademarks” and protected in dissimilar classes.
2. For a famous French outdoor equipment company, Ms. Zhang provides evaluation and analysis services for trademark strategies, draws up trademark strategy reports, conducts trademark surveillance and strategy research services for its house marks, and wins a series of opposition and invalidation cases. The trademark squatting and hoarding behaviors of a malicious group companies have been severely cracked down, and the client’s trademark protection scope is significantly expanded.
3. For a known German protective film company, Ms. Zhang provides professional services in trademark oppositions, invalidation actions and trademark strategy analysis and consultation, and successfully safeguards the client's prior rights and interests in a series of trademark opposition and invalidation cases, helps the client obtain a wider range of trademark protection, and effectively prevents the client's trademarks from being illegally rushed registered and exploited by several different companies.
4. For a Luxembourgian world-famous 4A advertising group and their subsidiaries in China, Ms. Zhang takes care of their trademark portfolio and provides trademark prosecution services, including trademark applications, review on rejections, assignments and transfers, renewals, oppositions, and invalidations.
5. For an Australian famous extreme sports brand, Ms. Zhang represented the client in administrative litigation procedures on a trademark invalidation case and won favorable decisions in the first and second instances.
6. Ms. Zhang represents different clients in various domain name disputes and wins favorable decisions in all complaints filed to the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre, China Internal Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Dispute Resolution Centre and Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.

HONORS & ACTIVITIES:
1. Ms. Zhang is honored as Level 1 Trademark Attorney in the Trademark Talent Pool by China Trademark Association.
2. On 2023 AIPPI China Youth Seminar, Ms. Zhang made a speech on “Protection of Prior Name Rights of Famous Persons in Combating Bad-Faith Trademark Applications and Registrations” and won the Third Prize.
3. In June – July 2023, Ms. Zhang participated in Boehmert & Boehmert‘s program on “IP Summer Course 2023—Obtaining, Enforcing and Evaluating Intellectual Property Rights in Europe”
