Mr. Li joined Liu, Shen & Associates in 2018. He was qualified as a patent attorney and attorney-at-law in 2019.

Mr. Li specializes in patent drafting, prosecution, re-examination, patent invalidation, IP litigation, and counseling with a focus on medical devices, molecular detection, biochip, robot, MEMS, automobile engineering, etc.

Before joining Liu, Shen & Associates, Mr. Li worked for IPO and refinancing business in the Investment Banking Department of China Merchants Securities.

Main Clients Mr. Li Worked for:

-      Google, VALEO, Schneider, TE Connectivity, BOE, etc.

Mr. Li drafted many new patent applications for many corporations, including Schneider electrics, Valeo Siemens eAutomotive, Kone elevators, BOE, Leili motors, etc.

Representative cases that Mr. Li has participated are as follows.

1. Representing a domestic hydraulic equipment company HL to won the patent invalidation procedure against a Japanese company.

2. Representing a projection equipment company TD in Taiwan Province, to settle the patent invalidation procedure filed by a domestic competitor company.

3. Entrusted by a domestic supplier of EMU parts FY to conduct a patent infringement risk analysis and patent layout report for its products.

4. Entrusted by investment institutions to analyze the patent stability and evaluate the infringement risk of its core products of a domestic medical equipment company and an AI medical imaging company.

Main Project Experience:

−     Thin film thermocouple sensors for monitoring cutting temperature

Research on label-free molecular detection methods and construction of corresponding system;

Research on single cell capture and culture;

Development of adaptive underactuated robot hand.
