The 2025 Global Biotech & Pharmaceutical Patent (China) Summit was successfully held in Shanghai on June 5–6, 2025. The Liu Shen team was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech. During the conference on June 5, LIU Guojun, Partner at Liu Shen & Associates, delivered a keynote speech titled "Strategic Analysis of Patent Portfolio Planning for ADC Technologies". Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical IP services, Mr. Liu systematically analyzed the logic and strategies of ADC technology patent portfolio planning across the entire lifecycle—from early R&D to commercialization—using the patent strategy of DS-8201 (Trastuzumab Deruxtecan) by Daiichi Sankyo and AstraZeneca as a case study. He also provided in-depth insights into addressing patent infringement risks, offering both theoretical depth and practical value to the audience.
