Repreaentative Cases
  • Represented an individual in a lawsuit against the CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration) to cancel a registered trademark. During the first-instance trial, we successfully applied for an investigation order to retrieve new evidence proving that the trademark registrant had fabricated evidence. By effectively excluding this critical evidence from the case, we successfully secured the cancellation of the disputed trademark, thereby freeing up limited trademark resources. This case was selected by the Beijing High People’s Court as one of the Top Ten Cases of Judicial Protection for Trademark Authorization and Confirmation in 2024
  • We represented a renowned U.S. specialty metals company in conducting comprehensive online and offline investigations against a Chinese infringer. Our team successfully proved that the infringer had engaged in systematic plagiarism of our client’s business identity, ranging from trademark infringement to the misappropriation of the company’s history. Based on the evidence of bad faith gathered, we successfully invalidated the infringer’s trademark. This case was recognized by the Intellectual Property Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA) as one of the "Top Ten Outstanding Non-Litigation Trademark Cases of 2023." Subsequently, we represented the client in combined litigation for trademark infringement and unfair competition against the same infringer. We successfully persuaded the court to rule in our favor on trademark infringement and, citing the Anti-Unfair Competition Law, obtained a court order compelling the infringer to change its corporate name. This case was selected by Xinhua.net as one of the "Typical Intellectual Property Protection Cases for Chinese and Foreign Enterprises of 2024."

  • Represented a renowned British electrical appliance company as the opponent in filing over a hundred trademark opposition and invalidation cases. We successfully secured favorable rulings across multiple product categories by establishing the status of the client’s "well-known trademark." This series of cases was ranked as the third among the "Top Ten Outstanding Non-Litigation Trademark Dispute Cases of 2023" by the Intellectual Property Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association (ACLA)

  • Represented a renowned U.S. electrical company in an administrative lawsuit for the review of a trademark cancellation. During the first-instance trial, we successfully applied for an investigation order to retrieve new evidence revealing a strong suspicion of evidence fabrication by the trademark registrant. This case was honored as one of the "2023-2024 Top Ten Cases" by the Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC)

  • Represented Beijing Daoxiangcun in the administrative litigation regarding the invalidation of the "Jingdao" trademark.
